The truth about the County Mill Levy Money Transfer for Developmental
Pathways
Developmental Pathways, citing critically low reserves, transferred about $3.6 million dollars from Arapahoe
County and Douglas County mill levy funds to their reserve in 2007, reducing
significantly the amount of money available for critical supplementary services.
At the same time, through June 30, 2008, Developmental Pathways
cumulatively lost $3,304,193 on their Pathways HomeCare store - and we don't yet
know the losses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009. Likely, these total
cumulative losses will total or exceed the amount of County Mill Levy
funds transferred to their reserve account.
