WHO ARE THE KINDRED SPIRIT SINGERS?

• We are individuals of all ages who absolutely love to sing.

• We love trying songs, blending our voices and singing together.

• We love practicing our songs around our homes, at work, driving in the car or just about anywhere.

• We love it when we hear and feel a song coming together.

• We love the creative, warm and generous feeling we have found singing together for each other and for the community.

• We love enjoying friendships as we sing and we embrace the feeling of equality as well as individuality.

• We love laughing, sometimes right out loud.

• We love our ability to be a free wheeling, song singing group of women not affiliated with any other organization.

• We love rehearsing and performing during the day.

• We love singing a variety of music with accompaniment tracks or a cappella.

• We love performing in many different venues.

• We enjoy the company of each other and each of us feels so sad when another cannot make a rehearsal but we understand - we have families, jobs and even the occasional holiday!

• We love closing our rehearsals with a brief prayer.

• We welcome diversity in our singers’ lives, religion, and politics

In short, we believe that by pursuing all of the above, we have the joyous opportunity of making beautiful sound for ourselves which we can then share with others.
